I have just finished watching the film City of Angels, it was so thought provoking and really deep (...yes I did cry)! Today's song is going to be Uninvited by Alanis Morissette which featured on the soundtrack.

Day Sixteen- 10th August 2011
To The World,
Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
Got a very beautiful song by a great band today. Love the lyrics and the music is great (not to mention my cousin is the drummer and my uncle also featured on the track using his trumpet)! Check out Another Sad Song by Lower than Atlantis, it's brilliant and also different to their other sounds- its from their new album World Record.
They are touring the UK soon so check out their facebook page too...!

Thought I would add a little bit of Switchfoot into the mix today; I'm seeing them in November (sooooo excited!!) when they are on tour in the UK.
Today's song is so catchy and the lyrics are almost laugh-able! See what you make of Gone by Switchfoot!

Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
I discovered today's track from the credits of a film a few months ago and listened to it on repeat so much but eventually got I got tired of it and deleted off my playlists; BUT I found it again today when I was on the coach to Oxford listening to my mp4.... and I admit I have started listening obsessively again- it's certainly a summery song. Have a listen to Find My Way by The Gabe Dixon Band and let me know what you think; see if you recognise the film it was taken from!

I spent today finishing off a Sophie Kinsella novel (Shopaholic & Baby) and with my lovely family. Its been a very good week with trips to the seaside, local towns, the Cotswolds and London with some lovely company too!
Today's song is going to be The Show by Lenka. I decided to choose something I find to be quite sweet (and in a way, pretty) for today's song as it's been a really lovely week, sing along everyone... ''I'm just a little bit caught in the middle...''

Day Seven- 1st August 2011

Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
First day of August... pinch, punch, first of the month, kick and no return! Happy August everyone :)
I was torn between two songs today; the first is From the Top by John Williams and the second is Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood ... slightly strange choices you may be thinking but I was listening to a CD in the car with John Williams on it and I had a giggle over the film The Proposal (Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, 2009) and remembered some very funny moments... one of my favourite films- if you haven't seen it you MUST!

Day Six- 31st July 2011
To The World,
Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
A visit to the sea side today was lovely; beautiful hot weather, lovely company and a nice chilled day out... journeys though are tiring!
Took lots of random photos as well as the usual of the waves, sea and sky... etc. Can't wait to see what they look like when I load them on to my computer.
When I first heard this song I was a bit unsure of it but excited to see what you all think so take a listen to You and I by Lady Gaga and let me know (its growing on me... hope it does the same for you)!
I have to be totally honest but I wasn't too keen Gaga's music but downloaded her album because it was cheap (!), had a listen and then fell in love with it (well if I was being totally honest... most of it!). I really like The Edge Of Glory but decided it was played enough out to the world and wanted to give everyone a break from it, so enjoy You and I!
Comment on what you think about Lady Gaga and her album/songs, I would love to hear your opinions!

Day Five- 30th July 2011

Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
Went out today and took the world in piece by piece. Had a great day with my boyfriend and sat in a cafe watching the world go by.
Discovered this song when reading a book I was given today (Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson) and I'm enjoying it so far. Its about a journey/road trip two people are taking together and every now and again there is a page listing their music playlist. Discovered this one today, enjoy...

Day Four- 29th July 2011
To The World,
Isn't it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
How is it that your mood can totally change when you change your surroundings?
London has such as buzz. I'm considering moving there, its just so amazing.
I've been a few times before and enjoyed my times too- I've worked on photo shoots in the Tower 42 Building and been on the top floor for drinks at night time looking over London, which truly was out-of-this-world yet something as simple as the train journey up to London today talking to my sister (while standing, unfortunately,) was truly magical and then seeing my Dad waiting for our train as we arrived back home was lovely.
We visited the V&A after finding The National History Museum queue too long and then Harrods, but it wasn't the sights that made my day, it was the people. Although mostly on phones, clomping around in their heels, tourists clicking their cameras, employees handing out their cards/posters, the hot packed and sweaty buses and screaming ambulances all made a huge mark on me.
There are so many people in the world, all focused on their own paths and plans, all moving forward; its amazing to watch.
I was unsure of what song to announce today but I think I'm gonna choose... Perfect Day by Lou Reed (there are so many versions, listen to a few and find your favourite).
Treasure those perfect days...

Day Three- 28th July 2011

I just wanted to say a quick hello to my first followers out there, hope you are having a great day and enjoyed the posts so far :)
Been in the garden today drawing clocks (of all things) for my Art coursework and reading while my rabbit bounced about in his run. Feeling quite summery due to the weather but a bit stressed out so listening to this song was quite uplifting and got me into a better mood!
Before I announce the title I'd just like to say that it has featured on the film Eclipse (Twilight series) but don't be put off if you hate the films, the music is really good!
Today's song is: Eclipse (All Yours) by MetricIt has a lovely beat to it so I give you permission to sing into your hairbruses and jump on your bed....

Day Two- 27th July 2011

Isnt it great when you find a song that matches perfectly to your day?!
Today was a bit of an odd day really. Had some appointments and have now mastered the skill of knitting (which I only begun yesterday)... on second thoughts I will rephrase that... I have now started knitting and am doing suprisingly quite well!!
For the obvious reason of me loving the TV programme Being Erica my song is going to have to be by Lily Frost...
